Flight into Egypt - baby Jesus, Joseph and Mary

When Herod heard that a king of the Jews was born, he sent his wise men to seek him out. They followed the bright star and were led to bethlehem, the place where the child was born. They found baby Jesus and worshipped him. After they left, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to take baby Jesus and Mary to Egypt and stay there, because king Herod was searching for the child and would kill him if he found him.

So Joseph took baby Jesus and Mary and fled to Egypt where they stayed until Herod died. Then the angel of the Lord instructed Joseph to take Jesus and Mary back to the land of Israel. They went back and settled in Nazareth in the Galilee.
